jMonkeyEngine is gearing up towards the alpha release of the new gaming engine with emphasis on Android support in a preliminary state.

They’re seeking a savvy developer who wants to work to bring Android support to a complete state, making jMonkeyEngine 3.0 (jme3) one of, if not the most powerful Android game engines to date. This could be a big opportunity for any prospective developer willing to collaborate.

The complete recruiting thread, fancy pictures and all, can be read in full here:

Familiar with the gaming engine on desktop experiences? What possibilities can be conjured up when ported to Android?
