This all started back in 1985. My father, always the avid engineer, was one of the first people to get a home computer. It was a Sperry, a now ancient machine, no internal hard drive and ran off 5 1/4″ floppy disks. I was 4 and I loved it!
Now, 25 years later, I am a PC technician and my passion is to help people use technology to improve their life, both at work and at home. More and more, that technology is smartphones. If you’re on this site your smartphone is already a big part of your life. Mine is too! I love my HTC Eris. It’s right up there with my gaming consoles and computers!
With all the things these phones can do it can be complicated, intimidating even. There are tons of settings and even more applications. This can cause confusion and unneeded stress. AndroidTapp wants to help with that, and that’s what I love doing, so here I am!
So whether you have a smartphone, a tablet, an e-reader, or a netbook running Android, I am here to answer your questions. Ask about an app. Ask about your hardware or something you are thinking about getting. Ask about how to add an email address. Ask anything! I am a firm believer of the phrase, “There are no stupid questions.” If you have a question there are others out there who have that question as well! Think of it as helping your fellow man!

I have the feeling that few questions will be tech-related. :>
That’s fine, Planet. I can answer some of those on the side. I don’t think those will make it to the article. ^_^
Love your Blog! Thanks for sharing all of the information!
Thank you so much! Great to know that people are interested!
ok so a few questions…
1. Can the HTC Incredible play movies? like the ones I have as a Digital copy on my computer that are locked up by copyright software? is there an app for that?
2. I like itunes cause it is organized and such. Is there any chance android will produce an app that can get my music directly from itunes without having to sift through all the music on my computer? Double twist is ok but not as userfriendly as itunes. anything simpiler out there that will keep my music organized?
3. Any advice for linking Facebook peeps with my contact info? I think I did it but I had to link each person individually and honestly I’m not certian how I did it and how to do it again. Is there a “just link them all automatically and fill in missing info from one to the other so all the info is there” button?
4. Nes and super nes games…know of an eaiser way to get them on my phone and a way to get the a/b buttons on the bottom of the screen rather than the top? It just seems a little well not worth all the trouble to play old school games on my phone.
5. any really cool aps that you recomend? there are a ton of apps to go through but most are soundboards and such that don’t do much.
Thanks!
All great questions, Shane. I’ve put them in my cue! Look for answers in an upcoming column! Remember to send your questions to nerdgirl@androidtapp.com!
Should that be “queue”?
Yes, p3d@nt, it should be queue. I must have pool on the brain. I did spell it correctly in a post on my Q&A from earlier today. Thanks for the catch!
