Dolphin Browser — free; adds pinch zoom; works great on the Droid. Haven’t touched the native browser since.
Well, I just posted an “Is It Christmas?” app last night. It helps you figure out whether it’s Christmas or not. Hope this is of some use.
i like Home++…. nice alternative to the stock…
Great! Thanks for doing this and helping the devs to promote their work.
It would be wonderful if you would consider our latest app “Photo Effects” for Android.
It allows to apply cool image effects to your photos. We got great feedback from the users so far and have a 4.5 average rating!
Thanks!
I’d like to suggest “Locale” – an Event Based Settings Manager. You set events (from location – via cell towers – to time, day, battery status, etc.) and then the settings you’d like to be changed – so when I get to work it turns on Silent Mode and turns off WiFi. When it’s charging it turns off vibrate.
You can also get plugins for Locale, like the “Wake on LAN” plugin – it sends a “Wake on LAN” packet to a PC to boot it up over the network. So when you get home you can set it up to turn on WiFi and then boot your PC!
Oh, and it’s Free!
Bump for Dolphin.
We could each make a list of 20 apps we love, but honestly, Dolphin is one that I have come to think of as the “default” program for its function (browsing). Honestly should be shipped with the phones.
I just want to say thank you so much for doing this because I have been looking for a blog to do this for the longest time, and it seems like no one has been dedicated enough to put in the effort. But of course you guys do.
SO THANKS!
Another vote for Dolphin Browser.

My favorite app so far is “Key Ring” which lets you keep all those store loyalty cards on the phone instead of in my wallet or key ring. It has worked every time for me when they use the hand scanner. Cash register people get a kick out of it.
i just got it, needs a little tweaking but SlideShow makes a sweet UI. I think it needs a consideration, or at least everyone looking heere should try it!
