Features:
I have to say, while I really like this app, ‘Internet Radio’ is perhaps one of the most uninspiring names for an Internet radio application. The problem is, when you put the app title into the Google Play Store search function, you’ll have to wade through loads of other popular radio applications to find it. Surely the developer could come up with something a bit more exciting?! That said, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
Internet Radio (this one anyway) is a simple-to-use digital radio application that provides access to more than 50,000 radio station streams from all around the world. In addition to all your typical favourite stations, you can browse the SHOUTcast radio directory for all manner of great choices. Simply enter a keyword and you can discover loads of new stations. You can search by genre too, so it’s easy to find a station you like. You can add your favourite stations and build you own list of top streams.
Now, there are quite a few radio apps out there, but Internet Radio stands out as being as visually impressive as perhaps any other app out there. The app comes with two themes, both of which look like an old-school wireless… a little bit steampunk. It’s the kind of app that is both functional, fun to use and looks amazing- definitely something you’ll want to show off to your friends. It perhaps lets itself down a little bit by not including a widget of any kind, but this aside, it is radio streaming on Android at its very finest.

Usefulness:
If you love listening to digital radio via the Internet, you’re unlikely to find an app as sweet-looking as Internet Radio. It offers a number of different ways to search and preserve your favourite stations, and even flips to landscape mode with your device. It looks good, sounds good and provides a number of great options. It does lack a widget, which is a shame, but other than this, it’s a handy and fun app to use.
Ease of Use:
The UI is like an old-style wireless radio; knobs, switches and even a cool dial animation when your station is buffering. The application is wonderfully presented and is a breeze to use.
Frequently Used:
This will always depend on the user and how they often they listen to the radio on the go.
Interface:
The interface is drop dead gorgeous and looks amazing on a nice big screen. There are two distinct themes (although I wish there were more) and these both look awesome.
