From the initial screen you can quick launch Search, Browser, Contacts, Settings and Customization options in the dock. You can place apps of your choice in this dock by dragging and dropping them.

I’m not a fan of their longpress implementation but it works. Filter through apps alphabetically to quickly locate. Poking around the app and settings is the best way to learn it.
