As technology evolves, so does productivity; hence why American Airlines have chosen to equip 17,000 of their flight attendants with the Samsung Galaxy Note Android powered phone/tablet device. It has a large screen yet small enough to still got in a pocket.
Flight attendants will use the Galaxy Note to record customer meal and beverage preferences, access customer information and identify high-value customers or customers requiring special assistance. We are aware of pilots using iPads in the cockpit to replace paper manuals, AA is attempting to modernize their inflight services and better serve their passengers.
