HTC One X

Read our in-depth review of the HTC One X plus follow-up conclusion article.

The HTC One X is a beast of a computer (cough) phone! :P Touting a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, this means it has four 1.5GHz main core processors and a secondary core for low-power tasks. As it should… the HTC One X has Android 4, along with HTC Sense 4.0, huge 4.7 inch Super LCD Display capable of full HD resolution, and it has an 8 megapixel camera with ImageChip processor to help speed up image processing. With the acquisition of Beats Audio last year, you’ll find the advanced sound processing software interwoven through the phone for music apps to take advantage of. Strangely, when the phone hits the U.S. the Tegra 3 chip will be striped for a Snapdragon S4, however, gain support for AT&T’s 4G LTE mobile broadband network.

I know what you mean, I only stumbled across the fact it takes a micro sim a few days before I got it. My carrier was awesome though. I went down to one of their stores and they got me a micro sim straight away and without any cost. They even wrote down the phone number for me… then all I needed to do was call their customer services, give them the number of the micro sim and they transferred it over, took less than an hour.

One of HTC’s points has been switching to micro sim is space saving… I’m not quite convinced you save that much space!!

No i wouldnt think it saved that much space.

Anyway I run into a new problem with this phone. The camera wasnt working properly couldnt take photos and some of the photos that were taken turned out realy small with color distortion of pink green and yellow.
I got the phone during long holiday in Thailand and went to the care center yesterday. Absolutely nightmare I’m telling you! I had to wait for almost 3 hrs to get to my que! By the time its gotten to my turn I had to go somewhere else because they said it will take 1 hr to update the bloody software. I’m not so impress with there service I’m telling you.

Will be there again tmrw nice and early to get the first que and avoid the long wait. Though they do delivery but it would take a couple of days to get your phone back.
