Ever wished you could’ve avoided a dreadful traffic jam a mile ahead? It’s possible with Waze. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, users can also send updates to other drivers in their community, reporting on road construction, accidents & incidents, police traps & speed cams, available parking and more. The cool part about it is that since it’s community-generated, the more people who use it, the better it gets. And according to the App Market, people are really enjoying their participation in getting this thing going.
Right now, to spread the word about their new Android App, waze has a contest giving away a new myTouch 3G Android phone! Waze is giving away myTouch 3G phone to 1 out of the first 100 unique road reporters in your state with their “Waze Across America” contest. Note that you must be registered with a valid email address to participate.

This is a very very good app. The developers are working very hard and working with the consumers. I really recommend it. The app itself is very good. Nice UI. Easy to use. For the most part, all you need to do is drive around with it on. The rest it does it self.

Now this is what i’m talking about. I luv this app. If you don’t have it, well what are you waiting for. Get it now!!! I like the updates and how someone can report something and it update yours in real time, ie. speed cameras, where police are and the list goes on. One word to sum it all, Fabulous.
