Step 6: Enable syncing: Go to Settings and select – Accounts and sync and select the data you want to sync. For example Contacts, social media, or e-mail accounts.
Step 7: Now, enter your gmail account details and login. You can choose additional options for syncing Contacts, Calendar, or Picasa web albums. Do not forget to turn off your carrier sync in Settings.
