Cons
- It doesn’t tell you how much memory is taken up by which data caches, that information would be helpful.
It is clearly quite obvious what History Eraser does. However, the application performs a host of useful functions related to data stored on your phone that isn’t needed or wanted. It is free in Android Market and arguably a useful tool for not only eradicating unwanted search histories but also deleting various data stored in caches that you do not need.
Features:
History Eraser is a simple, functional and useful tool for removing unwanted data on your phone. It goes way beyond deleting your browser search history, you can remove all kinds of data stored on your phone. Maybe you are a big texter and your message inbox is full of awful SMS jokes, marketing nonsense and those really annoying messages you are told you ‘must’ pass onto to 10 friends by midnight in order to get a wish/money/new car. History Eraser, in a couple of clicks, can remove all that junk in one go. All the areas listed above clog up memory on your phone, and it should perhaps be taken as given that smart phones require a bit of housekeeping from time to time. I mean, I use Google Maps, but I’m not sure I regularly have to refer back to my searches on it. History Eraser is great in that it gives you a host of data you can clear out easily and quickly. It lacks the ability to tell you what is clogging up your phone the most, which I think would be very useful, although I’m probably more aware of this because I have used similar apps that require root access, such as SD Maid.
History Eraser is free, although you can get an ad free version.

Usefulness:
I think it’s a very useful application, especially considering it is so easy to use and is able to clean in such a variety of places.
Ease of Use:
Incredibly simple. In fact, in the time you have finished reading this sentence you could have used the app and be doing something else with a much cleaner phone.
Frequently Used:
I’m not sure if you would use this daily, I guess that depends on how much your phone takes on unnecessary or undesired data. I would guess that clearing out unwanted caches of information might be a weekly occurrence for a typical user.
Interface:
The UI is very basic and straightforward, but then plush graphics would be a bit over the top for this application. It’s clear, simple and quick to use.
