Here!hush is a simple yet highly effective profile app that makes it easy to designate locations where your mobile device has to be silent. Simply find a spot on the built-in maps and ensure that when you enter that zone, you phone will go into silent mode. The app is really easy to deploy and even lets you whitelist certain telephone numbers to ring if you need them to.

Pros & Cons:
Pros
- Incredibly simple to use!
- Nice user interface!
- Effective!
- Modes to help conserve battery!
- The ability to whitelist certain numbers is great!
Cons
- If you already use a profiling app, it might well already do this and more.
Features:
There are quite a few apps out there that let you create profiles; essentially pre-set phone behaviour that is triggered by various events such as location, being plugged into a charger and so on. Here!hush focuses on your volume control and, in particular, your location as a trigger. The app lets you select a zone on i’s in-built map and, when you enter that zone, you phone will go onto silent mode.
So, if you visit the cinema regularly, just choose that area on the map and, when you enter it, your volumes will be automatically reduced- no more disturbing people by accident. Maybe you need to keep your device quiet when you are in work or college- in which case adding those locations will ensure your Android doesn’t interrupt your day.
One element which is especially useful is the ability to whitelist certain numbers that allow them to ring. Sometimes you might well be in work or college but are expecting an important call regardless. If you know where the call is coming from you can add that number and make sure your phone actually ring. At the same time if any other numbers call it shall remain on silent. This makes the app majestically user-friendly and considerate to your circumstances.
One other feature allows the phone to monitor your accelerometer and movement rather than battery-draining GPS data. This is said to greatly cut down the amount of battery you use when deploying the app. I have to say, in the time I used the app I didn’t notice much battery wastage but I’m unsure I can wholly verify this in the short time I have been using the app for. However, unlike apps such as Tasker, Here!hush is free to download, so there’s no harm in giving a go.

Usefulness:
If you need a volume profile app that’s really simple, easy to use and effective based on your location, be sure to try this out. It might not pack the same customisable punch as the likes of Tasker, but for a free and useful app, Here!hush is incredibly handy.
Ease of Use:
Here!hush is very easy to use. Just find the location on the map you want to turn into a hush zone and the app will do the rest. You can adjust what days it applies to and even which numbers to let ring.
Frequently Used:
This is the kind of app you set up carefully in the beginning and then forget about it. It’ll just trigger whenever you enter a pre-set hush zone. It then depends on how often you visit that location.
Interface:
The interface is very smooth and looks well designed. The app seems to specifically be set up to be straightforward to use, and the interface reflects this as it is easy to navigate. This is, to be fair, a sharp contrast to Tasker, which- while offering more functionality- isn’t overly intuitive to most users.
