Before launch my partner and I took a careful look at the available data (much of which you can see on my blog). Nothing I've seen indicates that the G1, although sales are brisk, outpaced the iPhone. That said I have seen research that indicates Linux based smartphones will outpace iPhones eventually. I expect that to be the case (but I'm biased). And in any case, I'm open to being corrected -- just point me to the data. Just FYI the Red Eye Chicago link doesn't seem to work (my apologies if it's me).
