Good point. There are other to-do tasks apps in the Android market which have a more pleasing UI experience. It depends on what users want. 2DO is a definitely packing more features than gTasks. It’s also a $6.99 app (which is relatively pricey for your standard Appstore app) vs gTask which is free.

I’m using 2Do application (www.2doapp.com). Well, it is not able to syncs with Gmail. But if comparing useful features, UI quality – difference is significant.

This is correct to say, that gTasks application simply does it’s work. But key word is “simply”. And for your question “What more would you want?” my answer will be “I want a powerful, simple to use, beautiful application, which will take cake of my tasks and which will make me feel positive emotions every time I use it”

Actually, most of the offline to-do list apps in the Appstore for iPhone are very similar. In fact, I don’t even use to-do lists on my iPod or Macbook but I do on my Evo. I’m not sure what iOS app your comparing to but your argument seems a little farfetched. This app works well: syncs with Gmail and Google Apps, ability to create new tasks without a internet connection, and is very simple to use. What more would you want?

Funny to read comments here like “Best tasks list android app” Application like this would not even be in TOP-10 list of best to-do applications in AppStore for iPhone.

A very nice app indeed. I have one suggested improvement: add a field so that Tasks can be prioritized (High, Medium and Low, would be sufficient). Or, allow the user to sort them manually via drag-and-drop.

This app seems to constantly overwrite lists and tasks created by all the Google webapps. So useless for me and i hope to remember my lost tasks.
(I’m using Ubuntu on PC and Android on Milestone.)

Anyone help me figure how I change my Gtasks App from one Google Account to another? I initially had it set up with a Google Account that I am not using anymore but on my Sony X10 I don’t see any way in the settings to change accounts?
Thanks in advance for any help.
PS. I have the paid version so I am reluctant to uninstall the program in case I have hassles reinstalling the paid version again.

Hmm. Crippleware that disables automated sync after 30 days and demands a paid upgrade… I’m not entirely sure about this one. Will wait until an open source alternative comes along: for now I’ll stick with Astrid (which *is* open source, and seems to be getting better)
