The Gowalla app is the worst thing I ever saw. Crashes, slow like hell, not accurate enough, can’t check-in evenm if standing on the place, memory leak, battery drain, G1 heats up like crazy. I don’t even know what they are doing to have full cpu load for an app like this.

Foursquare shows that it’s possible to make a good Android app. Quick, no memory problem. And on Foursquare you can get a mayor and receiving points for doing something. Much better concept imho.
