Still waiting for the Droid Eris 2.1 OTA….. Can’t do the manual upgrade, since i have the leaked 2.1 installed…..
@Peter Will you be able to get the official OTA since you have the leaked? I’ve been asked this but really don’t know…
My assumption is yes if it’s the leaked from Verizon but want to confirm
Verizon supposedly stated that it will work with the OTA upgrade…. Just have to wait until it is time for my phone to be upgraded……
I updated my Moment to 2.1. I had to restart the upgrade process a couple of times, unfortunately I don’t recall why exactly. It was pretty late at night.
Anyhow I’m very happy with 2.1 so far!
I had to do the process twice… USB cable issues the first time. Is your phone faster? A buddy of mine complained of a few phone freezes during calls.
I recently upgraded my Moment to 2.1 with no hangups and haven’t had any problems so far. The software is faster and the phone is more responsive in my opinion. I’m not sure if this is true but I think I read somewhere that 2.1 would have more home screens to navigate through rather than the normal 3?
I was shocked to see only 3 home screens rather than 5. Also having issues with adding Facebook account… it just goes back to “Add Accounts” screen. ;-(
