On it’s blog, Google announced that it has made some design changes for the search page results on tablets.
The company has simplified the results page, as well as increased the size of the contents and touch-based targets to make it easier to navigate. It has also added a way to filter results with a drop-down menu where you can choose to look for images, video, etc., specifically. In image search, the company has also made the previews bigger, and has made an effort to load the thumbnails faster, with smoother scrolling.
The update is rolling out to iPads and devices running Android 3.1+. To see the changes, visit www.google.com in your tablet’s browser.
