Google Phone (Nexus One)

After much denials of the hot rumour that Google was unleashing its own cell phone to support its wild fire Android operating system… it’s confirmed by TechCrunch via Google employees to be true. The interesting thing is that Google intends to sell the phone unlocked so consumers can use it with any GSM carrier (like T-Mobile or AT&T). The leaked specs we listed below are interesting; having the fastest processor thus far 1Ghz Snapdragon processor, 1GB 512MB of internal memory storage for Android Apps, running the latest Android 2.1 OS, brilliant OLED touch screen, no physical buttons except the trackball (there are 4 other touch screen buttons like the DROID), no physical keyboard (I’ll miss that… but includes Voice-to-Text feature along with virtuak keyboard), and 2 microphones one in the front for talking and one at the back to reduce background noise.
