Gingerbread Confirmed As New Android OS

We’ve all been waiting to hear what new and shiny version of Android that Google will come out with next. Rumors have been raving around the industry for months now about Gingerbread which is said to be the codename for Android OS 3.0. Last week, some early details were leaked about new features being added including the native support for video chat, Google Voice over wifi and cellular, graphical changes, updated native apps and more. Some skepticism has been made whether Gingerbread is actually 2.3 rather than 3.0. It’s hard to say at this point but as more details come in, we’ve have more to report. With the release of this video posted below, we should expect details coming soon.
