GetThemAll Any File Downloader app grabs videos, music, pictures and more for Android and Windows Phone. It can even grab text files and PDF documents. It can extend farther by allowing for transferring or uploading those files you’ve downloaded to a PC or cloud storage drive. Let’s get into the review and show all the app’s goodies…
Tested on: Samsung Galaxy S4
Pros & Cons:
- Download many file types including video, music, images, and documents!
- Filter download types!
- Batch downloads!
- Full web browser!
- WiFi transfer to PC or cloud with additional software!
- Interface can be a bit cumbersome and there are no web browser navigation buttons.
- By design it does not support YouTube video downloads as this is against their terms of service.

GetThemAll Any File Downloader is a gem of an app. It essentially allows for downloading media contained on most web pages. Media such as videos files (mp4, avi), audio files (mp3, wav), graphic files (jpg, png, gif animations) etc. It has a basic yet full built-in web browser to navigate to web pages. If there are asset(s) you’re interested in, simply tap the Download arrow in the lower right corner. This will begin to parse the page for all downloadable files and present them to you in a list. There is a Filter button to choose by file type. Once all files you want are chosen, simply tap the Download button and they will begin batch downloading in the background.
Files are saved in a sub-directory called ‘Downloaded’ under the ‘GetThemAll’ folder of your device. This folder name can be customized slightly to include the date and/or time appended should you desire. Do this under the ‘Get All’ tab under ‘Options’.
Lastly, the app can allow for transfer of files via WiFi to a computer (for Windows or Linux) or cloud storage drive like Google Drive via additional software GetThemAll Receiver. Once installed, connect your device to the same WiFi network as your computer and open the Receiver software, it will give an IP address and password for syncing your device. Once setup, under the ‘Files’ tab you can long-press any file or folder to invoke the options menu and press Upload to option, choose ‘Transfer to PC’. Optionally, from that same menu you can choose Google Drive and select your drive account. Easy! 😀
The app’s only pit fall and commonly mistaken by many users- is that it is NOT a YouTube downloader app but we have discovered a sweet trick to use the app as an Instagram video downloader! 😀 Overall, navigation within the app and webpages can be a bit cumbersome.

GetThemAll Any File Downloader – Help Guide
GetThemAll Any File Downloader can be very useful to the savvy Internet socialite. It easily allows for downloading media from the web that can be difficult from a mobile device. Note: I found that it cannot download some pictures set as background images on webpages.
Ease of Use:
The app is straightforward to use. Simply browse to the page you want to download asset(s) and tap the semi-transparent Download button and let the app find them, filter them and download them!
This is really dependent on your personal need to download files from the web. Maybe you’re snagging Facebook pictures or collecting cat animation GIF’s or
stealing loading up on of MP3’s… 👿 that’s your call.
This is an area where it could use some improvement as overall navigation structure is convoluted. You’ll find lower main tabs and upper sub-tabs… in which lower main tabs disappear when you enter some upper sub-tabs. To add to that confusion, from the Files tab-only there is a quick access slide-out menu mixed with upper folder options. Lastly, the web browser is very basic and does not support a forward button but at least you can use the phone’s Back button to go back… though sometimes this closes the app. If there were crisp structure throughout the entire app experience it would be flawless.
