Geo Cascade is a puzzle game that draws upon your logic and decision making skills to remove shapes from a grid. Simply tap the red dots to begin a ‘cascade’ which can remove other shapes on the board. The game is fantastically simple to play, but can you clear the board in as few moves as possible?

Features:
If you like logic-based games, here’s one you should take a look at. In Geo Cascade you initiate shapes by tapping on them. Tapping a red spot will cause it to explode, firing at the other shapes on the grid in all directions. When hit, the shape changes into another shape, unless it’s a red spot itself in which case it also explodes. This essentially causes a chain reaction on the game board and the aim of the game is to use as few moves as possible. Mesmerically simple to play, but a test of your logic and decision-making abilities if you hope to do well… it’s often about knowing which one to tap first!
The game is, without doubt, challenging and trying to understand the consequence of particular moves is tough, but rewarding when you get it right. Because you are just tapping shapes and watching what happens, it’s very simple to play and easy to get into. The developers are aiming to release new levels every week, so there will plenty of levels to get your teeth stuck into. While the game fits snugly into that ‘puzzle’ genre, the graphics are relatively simplistic, even compared to similar games. While I personally think this adds to its charm, I know some gamers are more demanding and will want higher quality visuals.
Each level has a ‘best possible touches’ limit and hitting that will earn you a gold medal. One over silver and two over will earn you a bronze. You have to earn a medal to progress. The game is fun to play and solving the level with the best score can be addictive. However, the game is quite one dimensional in that gameplay is replicated throughout and there are no alternative modes or change of scenery, etc. That said, the game is completely free and engrossing enough to kill lots of time.

Fun Factor:
If you enjoy puzzle games, in particular logic puzzles, this will be right up your street. It’s free so definitely give it a look.
Addictive:
Yes, definitely. If you enjoy these kind of games that require a logical mind and a small level of strategy, this can be incredibly compulsive to play and certainly addictive. Plus, with new levels added weekly, it could well be something you play for some time to come.
Graphics:
OK, so the visual element of the game is absolutely nothing to write home about but it works well and is easy to understand what is going on. The game lacks the snazzy graphics of many games in the Google Play Store and this may put people off, but the visuals are meant to be functional rather than eye-watering.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
The sound is essentially a basic range of blips and beeps as shapes change and disappear.
