Garmin launched the Garminfone exclusively at T-Mobile today retails for $199 with contract. The GPS device maker places a strong focus on their own GPS navigation versus Google Maps Navigation obviously; whether it’s by car or on foot, using voice-guided and on-screen turn-by-turn directions. Garmin’s featured software gives real-time traffic, weather, ETA and gas prices. With a charging mount and car charger included, Garminfone is ready to navigate right out of the box. Travel wherever you want with multiple location technologies that allow maps to work indoors and outdoors, whether you have cellular reception or not.
Also features Android 1.6, 3.5 inch touch screen (320×480), with only 3 megapixel camera without video capabilities, built-in Google services like Google Calendar™, Gmail™, YouTube™, and GoogleTalk® and access to more than 50,000 Android Apps in the Android Market.
