Galaxy S Blaze 4G is the latest Android powered smartphone in the Galaxy S line-up to hit T-Mobile starting late March with mobile Internet, said to be faster than most folk’s home Internet. It features Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), has a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 3.97-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen, 5 megapixel rear camera capable of 720p HD video recording and front 1.3 megapixel camera for vanity shots and video chats.
The phone comes pre-loaded with some multimedia streaming apps such as Netflix and T-Mobile TV, an on-demand HD mobile movie service, or download popular movies or TV shows using Samsung Media Hub. Also included is TeleNav GPS Navigator, which provides hands-free, voice-guided turn-by-turn driving directions and more. T-Mobile even offers a pre-loaded app bundle called, the T-Mobile 4GPro App Pack, which is an aggregation of key business applications, such as DropBox, Evernote, Square, TripIt, Camscanner and LinkedIn.

Should you buy the Galaxy S Blaze 4G? The Galaxy S Blaze 4G has good specs for a high-mid range smartphone. Of course you get access to all the goodness of Android apps, plus those multimedia gems pre-loaded. But the key factors in determining whether you should buy this phone is if you’re an Existing T-Mobile customer or looking to switch; are the price, at $150, and the 4G speeds. Many tech pundits will argue that it is not “true” 4G. But we have reviewed several T-Mobile 4G (HSPA+) devices and can atest to the speeds being remarkable fast, maybe not as fast as 4G LTE, but fast!
