G1 Tips And Tricks – How To Use a Wifi Connection With Your Android Phone

In this video I will show you how to connect your T-Mobile G1 or Android Phoneto your Wifi Router.

This will enable you to watch videos from YouTube in “High Quality” , and search the web much faster than running on your built in 3G connection.

Steps on How to Enable Wifi on Android:

  • Tapp “Menu” button, then “Settings”
  • Tapp “Wireless Controls”
  • Tapp “Wi-Fi” to turn it on
  • (Optional) Tapp “Wi-Fi Settings” to view wireless networks near you. Tapp on one to access.
  • Open Networks typically allow you to connect freely to the Internet/Network while secure (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.) networks require access credentials. If you know these, enter them to gain access.

Note: Access Open Networks with caution, unless you know it is safe.
