I get notified when one of my friends has posted a new status update and I can immediately comment on it, or mark that I like their update. The app is very fast, easy to use and very intuitive. It's miles better than the mobile website. It doesn't give you access to Facebook apps and other features but frankly I don't want it to. The thing I do most on Facebook is read and comment on my friends' status updates. I have found that Facebook has become much more useful for me by having Foobook on my phone. I am much better connected with my friends as a result. There have been quite a few errors and bugs to iron out in the development of this app and I have emailed the developer several times to report problems. I can say that on each such occasion the developer has fixed the problems promptly and was quite charming. Foobook for Facebook is a very useful app on my G1.
