Features:

FlightTrack for Android allows you to track flights and stay updated as well as informed while traveling. Search by flight number, route, airline, flight number, departure, arrival, and date. Once you find the flight you searched, you can save the flight which gives the benefits of automatic notification updates should anything change with your saved flights.

The app provides detailed information from departure/arrival times, gate & baggage information, airport details & weather forecasts, plus other interesting facts like air time and even flight route on Google Maps.

Usefulness:

Great way to track someone else’s flight in the case you’re picking them up from the airport. In my own personal experience in recent travels it let me know my flight was delayed by one hour, an hour later it alerted me one more hour was tacked onto that… Convenient!

Ease of Use:

Simply enter flight identifying information, save it and go. There’s even a home screen widget you can add for a quick glance.

Dependant on user flight travel frequency.
