Firefox Mobile Web Browser Codenamed Fennec Released for Android

It’s in Alpha development stage but Firefox has released their mobile web browser codenamed Fennec to the public for download and testing on Android 2.0+ and Nokia N900 smartphones. This release offers seamless web browsing experience between desktop and mobile via use of Firefox Sync, providing access to Awesome Bar browsing history, bookmarks, passwords, form-fill data and open tabs from multiple computers and devices.
Another really cool and convenient stand out feature is the ability to use popular resources as a base of search in the Awesome Bar. For example, type a search term in the bar and tap Twitter or Wikipedia, thus launching a search in the desired resource for that term versus you navigating to the resource then searching. The way you reveal and hide add-on features look familiar to that of another awesome mobile web browser for Android called Dolphin Browser HD.
BTW, use the Awesome Bar and search “Android App Reviews” and see what you come up with, as it links you directly to the top most relevant search result.

Of course we’ll thoroughly evaluate the app and do a full Android app review, however initial first gripe with Fennec is the huge size it takes up (30MB+). 
Those Android 2.2 device owners can move the app to SD Card to alleviate that pain. Go and download the app and tell us what you think in the comments below!
