Falcon Pro (for Twitter) is a gorgeous-looking yet significantly functional Twitter client for Android. If this sounds a little familiar, the app is developed by the same fellow that brought us Falcon for Twitter, a feature-rich homescreen widget. However, this is a full, paid-for and altogether different application that works brilliantly and is chock-full of features. If the widget was never going to be enough for your needs, this is the perfect solution.

Cons
Features:
There are very many Twitter clients out there and we’ve reviewed quite a few here at AndroidTapp. One of the more recent apps was Falcon for Twitter which, to be fair, was a widget rather than a full client. The app was incredibly functional and looked good. It would appear there was some pressure on the developer to create a full application and here it is.
Falcon Pro (for Twitter) is a different altogether and although it shares a theme, it feels entirely different to use. It comes with all the standard features you should expect from a Twitter client- access to lists, posting, scrolling through tweets, access to direct messages and connections. You can easily post updates and content and it feels intuitive. With those boxes ticked, however, it does do some other very cool things.
The features that stood out for me was the in-stream view of pictures and videos. It’s easy to open up both without being dragged through a browser. With links the app provides a smooth in-app browser feature which means you essentially stay in Falcon Pro itself. The other element I especially liked was the innovative way you can swipe left and right to reveal extra menus. Swipe from the right and you get immediate access to your Twitter lists. Swipe from the left and you get shortcuts for other areas like; mentions, direct messages, favourites, search and settings. This all makes using the app brilliantly intuitive and very easy to use.
People tend to have their favourite Twitter apps and if you’re a dedicated Plume, Tweetdeck or even Slices for Twitter user, it’ll take some shifting you to look at Falcon Pro. However, if you value good-looking UI and functionality, it’s definitely worth a go if you’re looking for something new.

Usefulness:
If you’re a Twitter user, this will give you a premium experience that far surpasses the official Twitter app which is laggy and slow in comparison. The app currently lacks multi-user support, but if this doesn’t affect you, you’ll find Falcon Pro to be an excellently functional application.
Ease of Use:
The app is incredibly simple to use and its intuitiveness is aided by the inclusion of slide out menus from either side of the screen. This is a superb feature that makes using the app a real joy.
Frequently Used:
If you are a heavy Twitter user, this will be something you use a lot.
Interface:
The interface is incredibly smooth and beautiful to use. The design is really nice too and demonstrates a great deal of polish.
