AndroidTapp.com Android App Review:

Pros & Cons:

Pros

  • Fantastic UI!
  • Simple to use!
  • Bills reminder!
  • Backups!
  • Widget!

Cons

  • $10 might put people off.

Features:

Times are pretty tight for many people right now and keeping control of your finances is becoming more vital than ever. How do we do this? Scribbled sums on pieces of paper? On a spreadsheet? Or do we employ a more flexible method? EasyMoney 1.0 is one of the latter, and puts your financial incomings and outgoings in an easy to use format on your Android device.

The things that stood out for me with EasyMoney 1.0 is the incredibly easy way to create budgets, manage regular incomings and outgoings, create accounts and keep a tight grip on your finances. The UI is really slick- which is nice to see, and it adds to the usability of the app.

Additional features, like the Bills reminder- essentially it sends you a notification for when you need to pay a particular bills all adds to the intuitiveness of the app, making money management actually a fun thing to do. Additionally, say you try and monitor your expenses via receipts, you can photograph these bills and integrate those pics into the app.

Useful too is the ability to back-up your accounts. That means any alterations to your device won’t affect your accounts or delete the information you build. You can also export your data if you want to, and secure the app with a 4 digit pin number.

The app features a wealth of additional features, each intuitive and helpful. Some people are going to be put off by the nearly $10 price. After all, that’s $10 less you can enter into the app! You can, however, try the app out for 30 days free of charge, which is a great way to see whether the app is right for you. It is expensive, but it’s arguably the most feature-rich money app available on the market. EasyMoney 1.0 has already been popular in the Android Market with nearly 900 happy customers rating the app at a 4.4/5, so don’t just accept our word for it. :)

Usefulness:

Massively useful. Helps you keep track of your money on a day-to-day basis. If you’re looking to monitor your finances better, install budgets and analyse your spending habits, this EasyMoney 1.0 is a superb app to aid this.

Ease of Use:

The app is very well laid out and easy to understand. While money can often be a headache for many people, using an app like EasyMoney 1.0 is intuitive and straightforward. The ability to export your finances, lock the app, view accounts via a widget and create bill reminders, makes for an experience that integrates your finances with your Android device neatly.

Frequently Used:

Obviously this depends on the user and how much you need to input. Whether you use the app to completely monitor your finances or if you use it for specific accounts, it works really regardless of your requirements.

Interface:

The interface is a big draw. The design is very cool and looks good. This compliments the intuitiveness of the app and makes for a… dare I say it… fun experience.

I don’t usually post comments, but I feel like I have to post one for EasyMoney. I had backups that didn’t work when I restored, and random data losses from this app that totally pissed me off. Had random crashes that happened out of the blue too! That and the author was not very helpful with his replies and sometimes just stopped replying. I used this app when it was first introduced and stupidly paid the 10 bucks.

Biggest regret ever. Now I’m using anMoney, the author of the app is always friendly and helpful, their newsgroup is also willing to lend a hand when new users like myself have issues or difficulty understanding the features. The app is extremely powerful once you get past the learning curve, and backups have never failed on me even when changing to a different phone. If you ask me, anMoney is considerable better value for money.

I purchased Easy money soon I had my first Android device and it was a big mistake, waste of money. Since then I have found much better financial apps like Cashdroid and anMoney.

I have been a satisfied customer of EasyMoney for almost two years. My device has changed more than once but I have never encounter any data loss. I also easily saved more than the cost of this useful app in a month (cutting down those coffee trips really helped).

Seeing as how Android is available in hundreds and thousands of different devices, every app in the market is bound to have some issues for a % of these devices. I would say it is totally unavoidable and am glad my devices escape that fate for EM!

EM works really well for me and is critical in helping me pay all my student loans after months of tracking my spendings and making sure I save enough each month. The reports give a sobering image of my finances and the budgets help me stay on track and avoid overspending.

Clean, sleek and reliable. EM is definitely my best recommendation for a finance app.

Easy money well presented app easy to use feels good . down side reports i have tried many android apps and find the same . 30 years self employed
at the end of each week or month i email report to my computer . i look at what i want to see the same as every body dose . income in one column and expense in another and at the bottom totals . And i quickly know my financial situation at one glance. So why put income and expense in one column with – & + these reports need to be simple and straight forward . i have not found an android money app with reports that are making life easy why . well i am just a consumer that wants thing that make life straight forward thanks
