Drop Block involves a colored block moving left/right on the top of the screen towards progressing towards the bottom, your goal is to use speed and accuracy to drop the block and line up three or more of the same colors to remove that set. A bit like old school Tetris by nature, but with a different twist, let’s check out more in the review!

Features:
Drop Block is a Tetris-like game where the objective is to line up at least three of any color to make them disappear, before any column hits the top of the screen. Unlike the traditional game, which has blocks of different sizes and shapes, you only get one block at a time, of various colors.
Instead of controlling where you want the block to go, the blocks move across the screen at their own, increasingly fast paced, your objective is to tap the screen when it’s over the column you want to drop it, to make three of a kind either vertical or horizontal lines. It sounds easy, but the blocks are moving, even in the lower levels, at a fast enough pace that you have to be quick. It’s easy to put a block one row too soon or late.
I have to admit, this is a lot more challenging of a game than I thought it would be. From the beginning, it takes a certain amount of speed and reflex to get the blocks where you want them, and it only gets harder with each new level.

Fun Factor:
If you like a good challenge, then this is a game you’ll enjoy. It sounds simple, but the developers did a great job here of not hand-holding when it comes to the first few levels. It’s hard from the beginning to get the blocks where you want them, and it’s a nice change of pace.
Addictive:
It’s easy to loose time to this game. It’s challenging enough to keep you coming back, but easy enough to pick up that you won’t get frustrated too fast.
Graphics:
The game itself has pretty simple graphics, just colored blocks. The backgrounds, which change with each level up, are beautiful scenic shots. You don’t look too closely at them, but they are pretty.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
The game doesn’t use vibration or the accelerometer, and the soundtrack is decent. To be honest, this is the kind of game I like to mute so I can play it while I have the TV on in the background.
