The wait is finally over. Verizon has posted on their support site information on the Froyo update. By the looks of it, the update should hit September 22nd for Droid X users. They’ve also included instructions on how to perform the update on your device.
The new features look pretty standard for most Froyo updated devices:
- Adobe Flash Player 10.1
- Automatic App Updates
- Google Maps and Browser enhancements
- Improved Exchange support
- The ability to transition from Wifi and 3G without losing a data connection
