DROID X Android Smartphone Available for Verizon

Today is the launch of Verizon’s answer to Sprint’s EVO large screen Android superphone challenge with available sales of the Motorola DROID X! Touting 4.3 inch, 8 megapixel camera, records 720p High Definition video, HDMI out with DNLA to HD TVs, Blockbuster Video rentals, 8GB on-board memory storage and up to 40GB capable memory storage, plus Swype keyboard and many more features!
The phone costs $199.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and 2 year contract. You have to fork over $29.99 for unlimited data plan, and additional $20 for Wi-Fi tethering on up to 5 devices that comes with an extra 2GB of data.
Existing Verizon customers can upgrade to DROID X if their plans ends 2010.
