DROID 2 by Motorola for Verizon Wireless is the latest Android smartphone to join the DROID family of phones: staring with DROID, DROID Eris, DROID Incredible, and DROID X. Pre-selling August 11th and in stores August 12th for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement and required data plan.
DROID 2, like its predecessor DROID, has a full slide out physical QWERTY keyboard with domed keys; plus a variety of inputs such as use of the touchscreen with Swype keyboard pre-installed, even speak your text or control the phone with voice commands.
