Dog Wars, Dogfighting Android App pulled from Android Market by Google

Dog Wars, the controversial dogfighting FRP game in the Android Market was removed by Google without specific explanation thus far. When animal activist groups and celebrities like Michael Vick and Alicia Silverstone called for its removal, the momentum really got going. We recent held a poll and stating our opinion and listening to yours about the Dog Wars and majority voted for its removal. What’s you opinion? Express it in the comments below!

There is no room in an open market Android for games promoting illegal activities like this. At least for game systems, there can be some control exercised by parents and shop-keepers about who gets access to a game. But on the Android market, any child could download this game without the parents’ knowledge or consent. This whole concept is disgusting. I hope the developers can come up with something better to do with their time.

Censorship is never a good thing. The “market” (ie., the amount of people willing to buy this disgusting game), not the Market should have killed off this app.

How is FRP dog fighting considered more despicable and an affront to our humanity than actual FRP games where you fight and murder other humans.

What a bunch of hypocritical political correctness run amok.
