Can be difficult to understand with the lack of instructions or tutorials
Have to wait for stamina to refill to continue with the game or purchase stamina with Ice that costs money

DJ Rivals is a one of a kind role play game. You must reclaim your nightclub by using different moves throughout the game to defeat the Bland Corp and its droid henchmen.

Features:

DJ Rivals is a unique role playing game for individuals that love music and love RPGs. In DJ Rivals players get to battle in their neighborhood, which is found via GPS, to take back the music and the neighborhood. There are four chapters with multiple levels and nine different bosses with unique moves to overcome in battle. Throughout the game players are able to unlock collectables that help you advance through out this RPG.

While this is a fun game, once you get the hang of it, the lack of instructions and tutorial made it difficult for me to get into and master as new moves were introduced. With the introduction of a better tutorial and/or instructions will make this one of the best music games on the Android Market.

Fun Factor:

This is definitely a fun game if you have the patience and are willing to fight through the game to understand the different moves.

Addictive:

This is not a very addictive game due to having to wait through out the game for stamina to go back up, but it is a good game for killing time.

Graphics:

The graphics in DJ Rivals are smooth and do not cause lag, plus there is an added option in the options menu to change the graphics detail from high to low. Also the graphics are very bright and upbeat which is the perfect combination for a music RPG.

Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:

The options menu gives you access to the different controls in the game. You are able to turn on or off different sound effects including music, sound effects, ambient music, and battle music.
