I have a bundled service from RCN and the Internet is 25mbps download, 5mbps upload. Tried verizon fios for less than a month and I ended up switching back to rcn for a better cable experience but verizons Internet service was not bad at 50mbs download.

I currently use Verizon. It’s got a descent signal but the cost is a tad much now that more and more services are coming down in price. I’d love to try a different carrier at my li’l house down by the river!

We have FIOS, and it’s amazingly fast if you have a copper wire connection. We get 75 Mbps (9+ Megabytes/sec) routinely, even on SpeedTest.net. I’m still very interested in the idea of the Virgin Mobile hotspot though because it’s cheap compared to FIOS.

I use Time Warner Cable for internet. I love how reliable it is in my area, but they now charge to “rent” their modems, and their billing is annoying. They don’t tell you when promotional periods begin or end. Great service, but customer service is quite annoying to try and work with.

I don’t have any other Timer Warner Services and I’m completely ok with that.

Verizon Wireless…. their service is lightning fast and is pretty much everywhere, but their phones leave a lot to be desired in terms of flexibility and updates. Plus they no longer have unlimited data if you want to upgrade…

They have FiOS. It is rather fast on the net side, have not used the TV nor telephone as yet. And I was very pleased when the new router arrived at how wonderful CS was at helping me set up phones, laptops and even using the online interface with explanations of the various options within it. The TS did not seem to mind how long it took to get it done as late as it was in the day. We even did speed tests as we talked using 2 different sources as the reason for the new router was problems with the OnDemand side of FiOS.

Thanks Android Tapp and Virgin Mobile for the contest!!

Time Warner Cable here. Can’t complain, speeds are decent, price isn’t too bad, and only a few very brief outages in the time I’ve been a subscriber.
