Craigslist EZ is an app that allows you to search and post to Craigslist while mobile. Encompassing the power of the classified ads website on the small screen; it feature additional perks such as post management, Craigslist “ghosting” check, the ability to save frequent searches and browse favorite classified items.

Features:
Craigslist EZ is a third party app to search, filter and post ads to Craigslist while on the go. You can utilize most of the key features of the desktop version of the website, yet the app is optimized for smaller screens. The app consists of two primary features; Search and Post.
Search results can be filtered by location, category, price, even filter whether you want only posts with pictures or not. While on the ad details page, you can see all the details as you would on the website; including descriptions, links and photos. Craigslist EZ goes a bit further by allowing you to save search results for later perusal. There is also a bookmark feature to favorite specific items you may find.
Aside from searching, you can also start or edit an ad post using the app. This is very convenient for posting while on the move. Moreover, as you can manage your Craigslist post via the app, it also checks that your post is not “ghosted“, which presents great problems for some people. For example, I’ve used similar apps, like Craigslist Notifier, to post furniture being given away all from the phone: load pictures previous shot & upload them, write post details, plus email verification; rather than relying on a computer to complete the process.
Two let downs with the app comes with the cumbersome navigation structure and there is no notification feature built in. General navigation is not intuitive as there are icons that need to be explored to determine what they mean, then what seem to be navigation buttons on the first screen- yet they do not exist elsewhere, and there is other hidden navigation in the menu area. Lastly, with the lack of a notification feature this means you will have to go seek your criteria rather than have the app work for you and alert you of new postings you’re interested like other Craigslist apps.

Usefulness:
Millions of folks use the Craigslist classified ads website daily. Even more are mobile, and Craigslist EZ allows for facilitating search and post needs while untethered to the computer. For those who use the service this app can be very helpful… even more had it included a notification feature.
Ease of Use & Interface:
Craigslist EZ has quite the catch twenty-two dilemma; while in general it is easy to search and post to Craigslist, it suffers from fluid navigation getting to the various areas of the app. My fear is that many novice Android users can get lost within the app, but may not be much of an issue for advanced users.
Frequently Used:
If you are using the app as someone who post ads or services… say job postings, etc. this can be something you use almost daily. Same if you are in seek of these postings, it can become an app you seek multiple times daily as you need it.
