Cons

Limited content to justify the subscription pricing, but many free titles are continually added

Features:

Crackle is an Internet television entertainment network created by Sony Pictures Entertainment. They differ from other online television and movie streaming services such as Hulu with their own original shows such as Why It Crackles, So On and So Forth, and Charlie Murphy’s Crash Comedy. With the Crackle app for Android you can view those shows in high quality even over cellular networks. Another benefit you can stream full movies to your smartphone.

However one of the main gripes among the freebie crowd is the lack of content at no cost, or enticing content worth paying for. Many of the titles requires upgrade to Crackles premium services priced at $4.99 for 1 month subscription, $12.99 for 3 month subscription, $24.99 for 6 month subscription services. The key to the success of this app is more premium content, lets hope Crackle plans to add a wealth more.

Usefulness:

Crackle for Android smartphones is a demonstration of advances in mobile technology, to stream full length movies and original shows from your favorite online resources is great. Probably not used as often, but services like these with the addition of quality programming will become more common for typical consumers.

Interface:

The user interface is setup for easy scroll and browse for video content however it does not yet include a search feature.

I subscribed to the three months and the one month…neither on would install on my phone, I have been charged for it.

Crackle is free for iOS, no subscription needed. Usually Android apps are cheaper than iOS apps, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with Crackle.

tryed to upgrade crackle program not found on android market what can i do to up grade software i have a dell streak with att service my upgrade ran out and now software not avaible
