CPU Benchmark Android App is a simple tool for testing the speed of the processor in your Android phone. View your results in a graph, upload results, plus compare results of other users online. A great way to see if your phone is running average or slow (for many DROID owners there is a way to overclock it and unlock more CPU power than the 600MHz Motorola initially sets it to). There are code names used to identify various Android phones for example; trout is T-Mobile G1, hero is HTC Hero, sholes is Motorola DROID, mahimahi is Nexus One, etc. Though it’s not an app for your average user, techies will love it… especially those who Root and switch between ROMs.
