For you traveling folk, Christmas came early this year. Yesterday, ALK Technologies announced CoPilot Live USA was reduced to the price $4.99. That’s not a typo, yes $4.99. Keep in mind this is only the USA version of the CoPilot Live suite of software. CoPilot Live North America is still available in the Android Market for $19.99 which includes both USA and Canada.
We reviewed CoPilot Live in the summer and highly recommend the app. One of the key features that sets this GPS navigation app for your Android apart from the rest is the ability to navigation without the use of mobile internet. The maps are downloaded directly to your SD card so you don’t need an internet connection in order to use it properly. The internet is needed to use any of the Live Services including the new ActiveTraffic feature that provides real-time traffic information along your route. With your new purchase of CoPilot Live USA, your given a 14-day free trial of the new ActiveTraffic feature which calculates routes and ETAs based on real-time traffic conditions.
