Usefulness:

Maybe not useful to the entire Android genre but definitely caters to a niche market. It offers a unique approach to reaching cooking connoisseurs. What gives it useful appeal is the application model; Watch, Shop and Make.

Ease of Use & Features:

The app is pretty straight-forward because of the model. You watch the short video about the tasty dishes. Go shopping for the ingredients (cool feature to slide the serving size scale with your finger to determine how much or little to buy). Once you have all your ingredients, there are instructions on how to make it or you can revisit the video. A great way to stay interactive with the user base.

The only gripe is the low quantity of food choices, but with time that will be resolved.

Frequently Used:

For now, it is not foreseen as a frequently used app only because the amount of content is low, but we foresee an abundance of delights to be added.

Interface:

The interface and screens are pretty intuitive. We would recommend changing up the video intro, branding it and add creative title tags for the hosts’ names (but that’s just my marketing gears turning).

Hey! Thanks for the review of our app.. We really appreciate that you took the time to check it out.

We don’t think of it as a niche utility for cooking connoisseurs though. We aim to offer a new and entertaining way to cook, whether you aren’t much for cooking or love it. It presents a new way to make the process of planning and cooking easy and fun.

You are right that we have an abundance of delights forthcoming We have a lot of people (some extremely) hooked on the Capsules and a need to solve our supply and demand challenges. So be patient, capsule users! We are working hard to bring you the goods.

We will build our library steadily over time, but Cooking Capsules will always focus on quality over quantity. There are lots of ways to search for millions of recipes- we want to bring you some nice collections of our favorites with everything you need to know to rock each one for yourself.

Great idea this. It is always difficult to thin of varied things to cook especially for a hungry family and some of the ideas here and elsewhere on your site have given me some great ideas so thak you!
