Pros
CNET Scan & Shop Android App is a branded version of popular ShopSavvy barcode scanner app with exception of including CNET Reviews where applicable. Scan product barcodes to get pricing locally or on the Web, plus create a wishlist and see scan history. Additionally you can scan QR Codes (the bar codes we place with all of our Android App Reviews for scanning on computers screens for easy app download in the Android Market).
CNET Scan & Shop is proven useful when shopping, see the stories of many ShopSavvy users who use the app to make better buying decisions (some often are asked to leave the store… LOL).
Very easy… scan a products bar code, enter the number manually or search product names.
Intended for use before or during shopping.
The user interface is customized for CNET powered by Sony. Sleek and easy to operate.

Whoa – this is a VERY cool application. The features look sweet – I will make sure that this is the first app I have on my EVO.
When you barcode scan something it makes this super loud beep. Nothing like attracting attention (Alarm) like your trying to steal something. Settings had nothing to disable this.
Wait… I found it when you in bar code scan/camera mode (Search for a product >) there is a icon in the bottom right to beep/vibrate/disable setting. They should really just add this to settings as well as a standard to find the “setting” for the sound. I like the icon for quick access but I only want to set it once and never look back. Changed setting to vibrate and rebooted phone. The setting saved perfectly. No issues love the application.
Other comment: It would be nice if it incorporated Google shopper results so I can get rid of the original widely used “Barcode Scanner” application.
