In City Jump, join the super hero in red as he climb up walls avoiding robots, phantoms and mysterious characters in his path. This addicting game has three modes for you to pick from that will keep you coming back for more.
Price: Free
Pros & Cons:
Pros
- Great motif. Who doesn’t love kick-ass cheesy super heros?
- Three various game modes kept the game fresh and interesting.
- Simple tap controls lets you jump right into the game.
Cons
- Game can get a little laggy when switching levels.
Features:
Follow a red tights-wearing super hero as he tries to run up the walls and jump away from enemies in an urban setting. Your objective is to avoid all the bot enemies and phantom looking creature from destroying you with lasers and spirit balls. Killing three enemies in a row gets you a bonus where you can plow up the wall knocking all enemies in your wake. Don’t forget to collect your bubble shield. This will protect you from one hit while you play.
There are three modes to this game. The story and the classic mode, which you are able to run up the walls in a city landscape. You dodge your traditional robotic and ghost-like enemies, but the Christmas mode gets a bit interesting. Grabbing the Santa shield turns you into jolly-Saint Nick himself and protects you from one hit. Destroy reindeer, snow man and candy canes wishing for your death; a great way to take your anger out on the holidays.

Fun Factor:
This game was highly addictive. It had a strange similarity to Ninjump, the 3-D jump game. The only difference between the two was that one had a ninja while the other had a man in tights. Both are fun. Sometimes you just prefer a super hero over a ninja. I also appreciated the other modes. When you get bored with one mode, you can try another.
Addictive:
This game kept me playing it for hours. The premise is to climb as high as you can. It’s always nice to try and beat your score, and you can spend a considerable amount of time trying to do just that.
Graphics:
I was sort of feeling the 2-D graphics. The colors and graphics reminded me of old-school Street Fighter, which seemed fitting for a game featuring a super being.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
City Jump only uses sound that can be switched off at your leisure.
