ASnap, take Screenshots on Android Devices without Rooting, SDK or Techno Lingo

CircleSoft Apps released ASnap, a new tool for taking screen shots of an Android phone without needing root permissions. The software installs on a Windows or Mac system, and doesn’t require an Android SDK. It automatically finds the correct drivers, and saves the images to your hard drive. The company is offering a free demo version to test and make sure it will work with your setup. After that, the license is $19.95 per Android device.

I’d rather download the SDK and learn how to configure it to take pictures than pay $20 for an app that will ultimately do the same thing. It’s not that hard, and there are plenty of tutorials online on how to do it.

Besides, Gingerbread and Honeycomb both have the ability to take pictures built in.

$19.95 per device, lmao. It’s easier and cheaper to root the phone then pay a over-inflated price.

Hi and thanks for the feedback. I am afraid you miss the point for ASnap. The program is not directed towards developers that have the know how to download the SDK, nor to enthusiasts that have the time to root their phone and follow tutorials.

We think that ASnap has a market for busy professionals and organizations that do not wish to load their machines down with lots of software just for a simple screen shot. A support person’s time is very valuable, if we can reduce the install time from an hour to less than 5 minutes, it is well worth the small price we charge for ASnap which is well within the price of other shareware utilities.

ASnap is certified malware free by 3 reputable organizations and all code is signed by CircleSoft to preclude any tampering. These are all important considerations to professional organizations.
