Google has today launched the Beta release of Google Chrome for Android. The new browser which, to be fair, Android users have been anticipating for some time now, aims to bring the speed and simplicity of their home computer browser to your Android device. Simply by logging into the app brings all the bookmarks, tabs and other browser data you have on your computer right to your mobile device.

The speed and simplicity of Chrome, now on your Android phone and tablet. Browse fast on your Android smartphone or tablet, and bring your personalized Chrome experience with you anywhere you go. Chrome for Android is available, initially in Beta, on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. To check if it is available in your country, please visit: http://goo.gl/6ARvc
The kicker for many however is that, for now, the app is only available if your device runs Android’s new OS, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0. Additionally, it is only available in the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Australia, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. Psst… if your country is not supported try Market Unlocker to get around it if you’re on ICS and rooted.
Now, here at AndroidTapp we’ll be feverishly testing the new browser to death over the next few days so expect a comprehensive review very soon. Until then, feel free to check out the slew of videos Google released explaining exactly what’s going on and download it using convenient links above:
