Dell will finally be releasing their highly anticipated tablet phone the Dell Streak sometime in the next week or so. Dell released an official statement regarding the tablet/phone device making the expected release date a reality. The Archos 7 Home Tablet won't ship to the U.S. until early June, and those who pre-ordered might get theirs before the end of May (fingers crossed). The 7-inch Android tablet ships with an older version of Android (1.6) and will not have access to the Android Market. :( However will have Archos own AppsLib store of Android Apps with a few pre-installed; like eBuddy and Aldiko eBook Reader. In CarryPad's live blog coverage of the WePad conference today we learned of new specs, pricing and initial launch date. The WePad is an Android tablet with 11.6 inch touch screen display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor, 16GB of flash storage, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1, and 1.3 megapixel camera starting at €449 ($611 USD) in July 2010.
