Features:
CardioTrainer Android App with GPS and Pedometer functions is an excellent app for tracking and storing your workouts. While there are actually quite a few choices of types of workouts that you can choose to track, walkers and runners will likely enjoy the app the most. The GPS can trace your route and give you a number of statistics, including steps, distance, pace and elevation. (Make sure to set the Pedometer settings for the most accurate tracking of steps.) It includes voice settings to receive notifications for time, distance, calories, racing intervals and calories burned. Additionally, you can turn on the music integration and the voice will talk over the music, not interrupting it.
The history is a great motivator for watching your progress and if you’re the competitive sort, compare your stats with others by looking at the Highscores feature. You can also set CardioTrainer to automatically upload your workouts to their website and/or Facebook. Having your friends see your runs might just be enough to push yourself a little harder!
The other workouts, such as elliptical, weightlifting, treadmill and more are available and appear to be timed only. However, they are a good way to track all of your workouts, not just running. You can also enter workouts manually if say, for instance, you forget to turn it on but don’t want to lose that record.
CardioTrainer comes with other add-ons in the premium version such as Racing for CardioTrainer and Weight Loss for CardioTrainer.

Usefulness:
CardioTrainer is very useful for those who want to keep track of their workouts and statistics.
Ease of Use:
Simply turn on the app and click start. If you’re using the GPS function such as when running, be sure your GPS is on and give it a second or two to find you before tapping ‘start’. You can change the auto-pause settings if you find that it is pausing too quickly, and can also pause the timer yourself.
Frequently Used:
Intended for any time you workout, for some this is daily.
Interface:
The interface is simple, yet still shows a great deal of information without being cluttered. There are controls for showing even less if you choose. There is also a graph function to view your run.
