Cons
This is a very good example of hold ‘em style poker in app form. You can play with friends at a private table, or play with anyone else who happens to be online in the public tables.
Features:
If you like poker, then this is the game for you. It’s a very easy to pick up interface, where you can play with other live people who have the app installed. You can create a profile that is shared between the various Card Ace apps, meaning you only have to do it once. Your chips are also shared between the installed apps, so if you win in one game, you can carry those chips over to play another one without having to start from scratch. However, you can also choose to purchase chips in-game – a Chips button will bring up a list of packages available, from $1.99 for 20,000 chips to $250 for 10,000,000 chips. On this page, you can also choose simply to donate to the developers, or to purchase a deck of cards modeled on the ones used in the game.
You can save friends, and then create a private table to play with those people, or you can play in the public tables. You can also choose which tables to play at based on the minimum bets, with a slider to let you easily set the number and play.
In the profile page, in addition to just setting your information that will be visible to other players, you can also see your own stats, including the number of hands you’ve played, won and lost. As well as any trophies you’ve won while playing and a list of trophies available.
It would be nice to see a game FAQ in the app, since it really doesn’t explain how to play. Granted, most people installing this will probably already know how to play, but a basics guide for someone who wants to learn would be a nice addition.
Unlike Blackjack, which is a pretty quick game, this one can move a bit slower. There are more rounds, and each player has to take a turn each round, as opposed to each player getting one turn per hand. This is the nature of poker versus blackjack, but it does, in some ways, make for a more sluggish feeling app, even if it’s not really the app’s fault at the end of the day.

Fun Factor:
This is a fun poker game, if you’re into poker. It well thought-out, and well-executed.
Addictive:
If you like poker, you’ll want to play this version of it all the time.
Graphics:
Like in Card Ace: Blackjack, the graphics are very appealing. It’s the same graphic set, only with a poker table instead of a blackjack table, so if you’re familiar with one, you’ll feel right at home with the other.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
There is “elevator” style music on the entry screen, but other than that, there is no music. In this app, you hear sounds such as the clink of chips when betting, which is a nice touch.
