I am still using it on my G1 and after some upgrade to the latest 1.6 versions of android my audio feedback stopped working. The app works, but I am missing my pace and distance info. Also together with listening to music I think the app is a bit unstable. Already in the beginning I had to turn the music back on after every information break.

Somebody have similar experiences with older android versions and found solutions?!

I've been using this now for a couple of weeks. Some likes and dislikes. In all I definitely like the app. It's easy to use, intuitive and very informative. However, there are some minor annoyances.

On occasion I've had BuddyRunner pause on me if I switch over to Pandora during the middle of a run. I'm not sure why this happens (I'm on the Moto DROID). Another issue is that the site which you upload your data to is written in Flash! This is a major PITA as I would like to at least use my nice webkit browser to view information while on the go that the app simply does not display on the phone. Unfortunately until Flash 10.1 FINALLY comes out, we're all limited to viewing the juicy details (elevation, distance graphs etc...) with a computer only.

A nice way to update the app would be to build in the ability to view all information in a way more closely to how it displays on www.buddyrunner.com.

@Peter: Yes
@Joe: a few weeks or months ago you used to be able to zoom in while looking at a map of your history. i used this quite often and was really impressed by it, it showed such detail i could see which individual trees i ran around. now i can not get it to zoom and i cant find anything about zooming on their website or in the faq. i really hope it wasnt implemented with multi-touch pinch-to-zoom as the g1 doesnt support multitouch. i would have easily paid a fair amount for this if the zoom was still working. now i have to send the history to the dashboard and zoom in on the trail from there. which really sucks not being able to zoom while active or even in history.

Works as advertised. However I uninstalled in favor of jogtracker because you cannot zoom the map feature.
