Buddy Runner Android App is great for outdoor runners and walkers! It keeps track of your Time, Distance, Pace and Calories burned, which can be emailed to yourself. A good app to have when working out using the power of Android, as you can listen to your tunes and track your workout to compare your progress later. View your results on Google Maps. During workouts at set intervals and when you stop a workout, the stats are read aloud to you.
When you assign an email address to your Dashboard, this gives you free access to sync your data with Buddy Runners’ website… to get more reporting information on workouts such as charts, accurate Google Maps paths, and data export.
Buddy Runner Android App is very useful for outdoor runners and walkers who would like to keep a track of their progress.
The app is easy to use or you can get more detailed in the settings menu like; setting your body weight to more accurately account for calories burned, view maps in satellite detail, configure pace calculations, change between miles/kg, and configure your Dashboard email to send progress to.
Frequency of use is user dependent, however, if this is your run/walk tracking app of choice… then it would be used every time you started your trek.
The user interface is simple, intuitive and optimized for mobile use.

Can you use this program without being connected to the internet and see your track later when you habe WLAN at home? Dont want to have so much data traffic…
Works as advertised. However I uninstalled in favor of jogtracker because you cannot zoom the map feature.

@Joe: a few weeks or months ago you used to be able to zoom in while looking at a map of your history. i used this quite often and was really impressed by it, it showed such detail i could see which individual trees i ran around. now i can not get it to zoom and i cant find anything about zooming on their website or in the faq. i really hope it wasnt implemented with multi-touch pinch-to-zoom as the g1 doesnt support multitouch. i would have easily paid a fair amount for this if the zoom was still working. now i have to send the history to the dashboard and zoom in on the trail from there. which really sucks not being able to zoom while active or even in history.
