Box Busters is a hugely addictive game where, using your accelerometer to tilt a platform from side to side, you catch boxes in a kind of parcel depot. Collect as many as you can, avoid bombs and freezer boxes (if you can help it) before selling the boxes for profit! Easy to play, hard to master and compulsively addictive.

Features:
Box Buster is cool little game where you have to collect and stack boxes. Imagine having a trolley and above you annoyed postal workers are literally throwing boxes down at you. You have to collect them by maneuvering your trolley from side to side, catching and stacking them with equal dexterity and skill. However, imagine some of these boxes contain bombs. Nice huh? You have to avoid these at all cost or the game ends. There are also freezing boxes which stop you moving for a few seconds… a nightmare if a bomb is falling on you! There are good boxes- some just contain cash, clashing metal boxes together gives you extra points too. There are also multiplier boxes which add your multiplier score.
Once you have collected enough of these boxes you can tap on them and they are sold. You have to time this just right though and you can only do it when the Cooldown bar is filled. Keep going to add to your score multiplier, but avoid those bombs!
The game features Openfeint scoring- surely a must these days for addictive little games like this- and there are 21 achievements to complete to be the a real Box Buster master. The game is initially easy to play and everything seems so simple as you get to grips with it. However the more you progress the faster the boxes fall, to the point they are literally raining down at you. That’s when it becomes a challenge to continue without being hit by a bomb and still manage to get the boxes sold. It becomes very frantic and lots of fun, all to a pulsing little indie-rock sound track.

Fun Factor:
Box Buster is great fun, very challenging and easy to play. Obviously the game is very simple, and some people might find it a little repetitive after a while, however their are the achievements to complete and also backgrounds to unlock so there is enough to keep people involved.
Addictive:
Very. With the addition of Openfeint scoring the game can become addictive between yourself and your friends- trying to beat each others scores. Due to the games simplicity, it’s easy and casual to play and has that special ‘just one more go’ factor.
Graphics:
To be fair the graphics are pretty simple compared to lots of other games. The interface is quite sharp and easy to follow and, while, game play graphics won’t rock your world, they are smart, functional and look good.
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
The accelerometer is a vital part of controlling the game. While there is a deliberate slow-down of the trolley so it isn’t being flung all over the screen this adds to a more realistic challenge. As mentioned the music is exemplary and I’d be keen to find out who it is!!
